Compliance Dismissals

If you received a citation for the offenses below, you may request that the ticket be dismissed if the violation is corrected by the appearance date listed on your citation.  Please present all proof to the Court either in-person or by email to: court@woodville-tx.gov. 

 

EXPIRED LICENSE PLATE (TTC 502.407):  This maybe dismissed upon proof of renewal indicating that the penalty fee was paid to the Tax Office and presented to the Court by the appearance date listed on your citation.  A $20 compliance dismissal fee must be paid.

EXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE (TTC 521.026):  This may be dismissed upon proof of renewal presented to the Court by the appearance date listed on your citation.  A $20 compliance dismissal fee must be paid.

EXPIRED VEHICLE REGISTRATION (TTC 502.475):   This may be dismissed upon proof of renewal indicating that the penalty fee was paid to the Tax Office and presented to the Court by the appearance date listed on your citation.  A $10 compliance dismissal fee must be paid.

FAILURE TO REPORT CHANGE OF ADDRESS OR NAME (TTC 521.054):  This may be dismissed upon proof that the address / name was changed and presented to the Court by the appearance date listed on your citation.  A $20 compliance dismissal fee must be paid.

DEFECTIVE REQUIRED EQUIPMENT OR IN UNSAFE CONDITION (TTC 547.004):  This may be dismissed upon presentation of proof of equipment repair.  Presentation must be made to the Court by the appearance date listed on your citation.  A $10 compliance dismissal fee must be paid.

VIOLATION OF DRIVER'S LICENSE RESTRICTION OR ENDORSEMENT (TTC 521.221):  This may be dismissed if the restriction was due to a physical condition that was surgically corrected and DPS removed the restriction before the appearance date listed on your citation. A $10 compliance dismissal fee must be paid.

OPERATING A VEHICLE WITHOUT PLATES OR WITH ONE PLATE (TTC 504.943):  This may be dismissed if the registration was current DURING the offense and registration insignia was attached to the vehicle by the appearance date listed on your citation.  A $10 compliance dismissal fee must be paid.

DISPLAY ALTERED, UNCLEAN OR OBSCURED PLATES (TTC 504.945): This may be dismissed upon proof that the defect was remedied and presented to the Court by the appearance date listed on your citation.  A $10 compliance dismissal fee must be paid.


IMPORTANT! ALL DOCUMENTS PRESENTED TO THE MUNICIPAL COURT ARE VERIFIED.
 
 FILING A FRAUDULENT DOCUMENT WITH A COURT IS A FELONY.
